Unknown pull-out knobs

I have checked with Hunter Marine and they can't even tell me, so I thought I would ask in this forum. There are two chrome "pull-out" knobs on my H-27 ('81)that I can't find out what they do. They are not shown in any manual. One is located on the portside just behind the nav station. The other is located on the starboard above and to the rear of the galley sink (on the cabin/cockpit wall). These knobs have been pushed in ever since I bought the boat. Can anyone help?

ask the former owner, sounds like he may have rigged a clothesline? Just a guess!

Electrical ?

I have a knob just like yours for my freshwater hosedown water pump. It's a simple electrical switch, with in being off and out being on. Isn't it fun to trace through the whole boat finding out what your boats' previous owners' 'improvements' do ??
