Universal Starter

After increasing clicks before turnover I gave up and pulled the 30 year old starter. Since I was told Universal know longer stocks the solenoid I went to Kabota and got lucky. If anyone is interested the Kabota part number is; 7000-65323. The Mfg. is Denso, #053400-1740, Switch,Magnet.
The actual problem turned out to be the commutater needed to be cleaned up. The solenoid cost $45.

Good to know, Karma's solenoid is occasionally giving me that sickening click with no turnover sound, too.
