A few years ago I replaced my secondary fuel filter on my Universal M25XP. It was a Kabota part and not a Universal part. I noticed that the gasket on the replacement wasn't the exact location where the gasket was on the original fuel filter.

Ever since then I have had a slight diesel leak from that filter from time to time. I have tightened it over time but once in a while I still get a leak from it.

I think that I want to replace it. I am not sure where to get another filter or what filter I should get.

Does anyone have any suggestions or have any experiences like this? Anyone know where I can order a new fuel filter?

Thanks Stu

Is it a problem that the gasket locations aren't the same as the original?

Hard to tell from here without seeing the difference, but, well, sure it very well could be.

Many of us get Kubota parts from tractor dealers. I have had success going directly to local tractor dealers around here, but some suggest tractorsmart.com for a source for the secondary engine mounted filters.

Awesome. That is very helpful. Nice to know that it is so easy to get replacement parts.
