If you've checked your main fuel filter then I would check for two other places: there is a small filter screen located on the incoming side of many fuel pumps that has very fine mesh & can clog. U may also have a partial clog in your fuel line or fuel pickup tube at the fuel tank. Many 70's & 80's era fuel tanks had a small piece of mesh screening located at the end of the fuel pickup tube in the fuel tank to act as a pre filter. it should have been called a pre clogging device, & if its there, should be thrown away. Your running for 20 minutes definitely sounds like a very familiar fuel clog. My previous boats Yanmar diesel did the same thing. It would run for about 20 minutes which is the amount of fuel in your fuel filter cup & lines, because it was clogged at the tank from the pre filter mesh screen.
