Hi all, thought I might just mention to the forum some information. I need to remove and replace my fresh water pump on the block of my Universal M20, otherwise known as a 5416. Visible oils spray and leaking from the pump area evident. So I searched for information to find one on line. First I needed to determine the engine equivalent in the Kubota series. Turns out it's a L285, L295, Z-750A. The fresh water pump Universal Diesel number is 298845, which is a Kubota #15401-73030, 73033. I found the pumps on line with a wide range of costs from as high as ~$190 to as low as $35, most with free shipping.
