I have just purchased a 1986 ODay 31 with a Universal M18 engine. I want to check that the exhaust set up is correct because when running I'm getting 500 degree temparature readings from where the exhaust leaves the manifold up to the salt water injector, after that it drops to about 90 degrees. So I either need to wrap the metal pipe up to the salt water injector or move the injector closer to the manifold? It's not the greatest picture but top right is a plastic white pipe which is going into the lift muffler, above that is the salt water injector then is goes horizontal for about 8 inches then down to the manifold.
