What brand oilfilter is best? I have been using FRAM PH-3593A. I have heard that the Universal brand is made better. Seems to me that oil filters are all the same? Any comments? TIC TAC III

I've used Universal and the Fram
I prefer to use the Universal filter but have used the Fram on several occasions when I was in a pinch. I have a hunch that the Fram is inferior to the Universal. That isn't based on fact though. It's just a feeling that I have after talking with mechanics. Many of them don't like the quality of the Fram filters. I'm sure both filters are good though and I am comfortable using either one. I just prefer to get the Universal filter whenever it's convenient.
