I have an '83 O'day 28 with the above engine. A Kubota block.
I have a thin metal plate 2 1/8 in long and 3/4 in wide with a part number stamped on it: 05 04243.
It was glued on the engine somewhere.
Anyone know what the part is and where the plate goes?
