This a question probably only a 35.5 owner can answer.A small portion under the rub rail, nearer the stern on my [92] 35.5 [actually where the deck joins the hull, underneath of the aluminum toe rail] is unfinished, that is there is no gel coat. It is a portion approximately 10" in length by 3" wide and tapers to the end of the toerail. It is only visible by looking under where the toe rail is bolted to the deck, in a kind of shoebox fashion. I noticed it as the boat is up on the "hard." Hunter thought it was probably an oversight when they gelcoated the boat . .its not problematic; it just looks unfinished. I thought at first it might have been a repair except that it is duplicated on both sides of the hull in exactly the same spot.I checked and found another Hunter with the same condition. I plan to paint on some gelcoat or white colored West Epoxy, just to finish it off some.Has anyone else noticed this condition?Fred Miller S/V M-Squared
