The prop and shaft had some minor fouling at haul out and I would like to do something simple to prevent that. The previous owner never painted the prop or shaft and the BoatUS website recommends against it. Anyone have any recommendations for a simple, single season, brackish water treatment?

Antifouling

In past years I have used a number of treatments . The one that has worked best is a barrier coat or two of Interlux 2000 on the shaft and prop followed by a good copper bottom paint. Apparently, regular bottom paint won't work well unless electrically isolated from the metal shaft and prop. This year, I am going to try Tempo's outdrive antifouling coating, as an experiment.
