[Hydro Therapy]

this boat washed up the other night on the northern end of Ocean City NJ. I was told that the owner lost power during the night. He attempted to set anchor but it wouldn't bite. He ended up on the beach. At some point he jumped in with his 2 dogs and swam ashore. No injuries that I'm aware of.

Main sail under a cover, no apparent jib on the furler. I'm pretty damn sure I could have kept it off the beach using the main, unless it was a masthead rig and the wind was very strong and dead on perpendicular to the beach. I have that inflated an opinion of my sailing abilities
