Avoid Electric!
Danny's right, you didnt give much to go on. But on my '79 28, I swapped out my pump head for a $600.00 electric w/macerator (I think they also said it would blend, juice, mix, and grate
, and it was the worst mistake I ever made. The macerator constantly chokes on even the smalles bit of toilet paper, even though it's marine 'grade' paper. At least 6-7 times a season I have to pull the housing apart and free it up manually (which is very messy!!). I got a rebuild kit with new impeller also, but found that trying to get the old impeller out was impossible. I decided this season the old head is going back in, and the electric monster will become my backup anchor...
