Type of alcohol for stove??

I have a pressurized alcohol stove/oven in my new 1980 cat30. I have gotten quit an education of these units so far from the discussion forums. I am getting ready now to try to fire mine up but I am not sure what type alcohol to use??? Is there a specific type or brand I should use??? Thanks, Paul

AL-CO-SOL

Go to your local hardware store. The product name is AL-CO-SOL and is a solvent. But it IS denatured alcohol. West Marine also sells Boat Stove Alchohol $5.49 per quart.

STOVE ALCOHOL

Any denatured alcohol will work fine. The hardware store is usually the best place to find and cheapest! I'm a big West Marine fan (and huge $$$ supporter!), but here's one thing I go elsewhere to buy for my boat. Tim L.
