This is an O'Day 25. It had a new interior instaled last summer. The insurance co will not pay. We will not know why the teo boats sank in Kansas untill we get them out of the water. Some one at the lake said that beavers have been known to eat rubber throu hull fitting. I will have to see that but we do have beaver around our slips. Jim Honeyman

Won't Pay?

Who is your insurance company? Hope you can get her up and get her back into shape soon. The sooner you have her up the less damage will be done. Sometimes most everthing can be saved with some work.

Need a rider!

As I indicated in an earlier post. I checked with my insurance company (State Farm). Agent said no problem to leave boat in using a bubbler. I asked the agent for a letter to that effect. He balked and conference called me into the claims department. They stated they would not cover damage due to freezing. I pulled the boat. The next week I got a card from Boat US Insurance indicating they have a rider for winter bubbling insurance. I asked around the dock and nobody I talked to had checked with their agent. Big suprise to everybody.
