This is repeatedly happening. Any ideas how to keep it from happening?

I had the same problem with my mainsheet, and all I had to do to eliminate the twist was to lock the Schaeffer block into position, rather than allowing rotation.

Well, that, and hoisting the mainsheet up the mast, letting the twists relax out.

Dunno if your Selden blocks have an anti-rotation feature or not, but looking at your set up, it seems that the boom-end block is the culprit.

Edit- Selden offers this as an anti-swivel device.

Why a block there?

My H36 terminates with a shackle rather than the additional block. I don't see the value of twin blocks on the main sheet.

I believe the twin block is used when there's no traveller on arch. Mine has a block at the end as well. Took it off as I've traveller. Twisting is now on the traveller block instead. I'll look into that anti-twist attachment. Thanks.

I believe the twin block is used to add another free end of the sheet at the arch. This allows trimming the main sheet from the helm. Nice feature. Locking the Selden swivel - mostly - solves the problem.
