tv and shelf mount

Hello.
Last year I tightened the nuts on the bolts from the jibsheet-car track and thought I should make them more useful. So I used coupling nuts and threaded rod to make a mount for the TV and to hang a shelf for the galley.

Well, the TV was attached using block of wood fastened to the TV with the mounting screws holes provided and a metal strap affixed to the wood. The threaded rod was passed between the two. The TV then rests and pivots on a washer atop two nuts keeping the rod in place, definitely a make-shift arrangement.
