tuning the mast: need advice

Need advice on best book and guage to buy for Cat 22 ft.Boat used for "boat camping", lake sailing... fun.... not racing. I had the mast taken down for bottom job and contractor half-assed put it back up. It needs tighting and some degree of tuning. Any advice at this point would be great. Thanks

H26 models. There is a bunch of very specific responses and step by step instructions in the last 18 months, but mainly in the year of 2001.E-mail me thru this site if you need extra input.
