Any one out there know the Tulsa area enuff to advise a good siling lake for an H260? Grand Lake of the Cherokees, Eufala, Oogolah ??

Grand Lake Sailing Club

I know some people that are members of Grand Lake SC on Grand. Lots of water and wind from what I hear.

Best OK Lake

Oologah. North/South lake for good winds. Very few shallow areas. Redbud Bay Marina has approx. 100 slips with sailboats. There are at least 3 other Hunter 26 or 260 boats there. Redbud Bay Marina is a Hunter dealer. See the link for more info.

For two days in September, when I took the ASA Basic Keel course on a Cataline 22 and San Juan 23, Lake Skiatook was outstanding. Oologah's bigger, though. Have a friend who has a Chrysler 29 on Eufaula, says he loves the East-West layout, always a beamish wind. I'm taking my h23 to Tenkiller in June for a family outing. Drove up there Saturday to check it out and I don't expect the sailing/wind to be too great because of the large islands. Pine Cove claims to be the second biggest marina in Oklahoma and promises there will be plenty of sailboat slips available for $10 a day. Mac
