Got a postcard today, sez Hunter boats will be at the Tulsa Boat Show that runs Tuesday, Feb. 1, through Sunday, Feb. 6. Courtesy of Redbud Marina at Lake Oologah. May not mean much to coasters, but seems like a pretty big deal for Oklahoma. Sez the 140, 170, 216, new 27 and 33 will be on display. Mac

I was there.

The show opened tonight by invitation only and will open to the general public tomorrow thru Sunday. The Hunter boats are at the far east end, downstairs. I'll be working the show Tuesday and Saturday evenings.

Larry, is it worth my drive (75 miles)? What boats are on display?

To amend my other comment-is the 33 really there? Are there any "other" sailboats?

It says,"the 140, 170, 216, new 27 and 33 will be on display." That is what is there. I didn't see any other sailboats on display. I spent 4 hours on the 33 last night. I want it, but I want the standard(non-furling) mast that is almost 5 feet shorter. The 27 is an interesting boat. At 7656 lbs. it weighs more than the 306. Its fit and finish is really good. It looks like it is built to go offshore. It has lots of handholds. The companionway is small. The engins control panel is really nice and even includes a tachometer. The engine looks to me like a 1GM10. Is it worth driving 75 miles? Only you know that one.
