It sounds like most of the injuries were from being hit by debris and then being caught in the current and pulled under and dashed into the solid structures and terrain. This is by far the most discriptive and useful information I have read or heard to date. There was a program last night on the public tv channel in which a father and son were interviewed about their experience in a bay in Alaska. They were aboard their boat which was taken by a wave that was more than 400 meters high. They described being washed above the trees on the shore and back. I guess that we could easily be under water in a similar instance here at the Strait of Georgia.
