I accidentally got some teak oil on the upper deck around the rails. I've tried conservative efforts with everything from 3M rubbing compound to Acetone to bleach. The deck has a non-skid surface. The stains are in the textured grooves. If you think you might know how to help me out please let me know. Thanks. J.Scott

A Firm Bristle Brush

Hi Scott: I would take some Mineral Spirits and a firm bristle brush and beat those stains out of the non-skid surface. When I say beat, it's almost a vertical stroke rather than a horizontal brushing motion. I've been able to remove every stain from my non-skid this way - - even winch grease. Good Luck, Melody

and see if Jim knows if Island Girl will do the job. If you have some just try it. Also some of the orange citrus cleaners will do the job too. Probably going to need a little stiff bristle brush too.
