Troubleshooting my Adler-Barbour cold unit

I am looking for information on how to troubleshoot my system. The evaporator in the cold box is not getting cold and the fan is short cycling every 35-40 seconds. I have checked the pressure in teh system and it was initially 30 PSI and I subsequently reduced it to 8 PSI per the tag attached with no apparent results. I have alos cleaned the grill area with a vacuum and brush to remove the little dust that was present. What next?

TROUBLE SHOOTING

THE 35 - 40 SECOND, ATTEMPS TO START SOUND LIKE IT COULD BE THE CONTROL MODULE. YOU CAN SEND IT TO US FOR TESTING. THE 8 PSI THAT YOU REDUCED YOUR SYSTEM PRESSURE TO, WAS SUPOSED TO BE RUNNING LOW SIDE PRESSURE THE 30 PSI WAS THE STATIC PRESSURE. YOU WILL NEED TO PUT MORE GAS BACK IN.

I am an AC/Refrigeration tech. If you aren't trained in refrigeration there isn't much you can do yourself. Dropping the pressure from 30 to 8 was a mistake. The pressure will always be high when the unit is not running. The 8psi is for when it is running. Do yourself a favor and get it checked out by a qualified tech... Ron
