Troubleshooting a Hood furler?

Has anyone run across a decent source of troubleshooting information on the Hood Sea Furl 705? A rigger came to have a look at my boat and snarled at my 705, which I of course defended. It locked up on my next sail and here I am, jib wrapped nicely, wondering what the heck to do. The Hood manual is no help.

James,My 705 used to lock up and someone suggested easing the halyard tension when the boat is not being used. Problem solved, and no recurrance for over a year. My guess is the bearings were getting a little worn or flattened or collecting dirt, etc. Good Luck
