Frank Butler of Catalina Yachts has contributed two new perperual trophies to be presented to the Catalina Class winners of the 23rd annual Cabrillo Beach to Dana Point Race. The PHRF racers will sail 75 miles around Catalina and the Cruiser Class will sail 34 miles directly to Dana Point on May 24/25, 2003 The race is presented by Cabrillo Beach and Dana Point Yacht Clubs. The cruiser class racers do not have to belong to PHRF .. only a recognized Y.C. Both clubs have a web site with Notice of Race and entry forms CBYC.org and DPYC.org Last year this race had 49 entries and this year indicates even more. Great fun and slips provided for finishers a Dana Point who enter early.
