Always been a fan of the Tripp designed boats and there's a 34 for sale for a dollar down here. 77 mood 2 I think. What can you tell me about them? TIA. Rick

Rick, I have no personal experience with Columbias but everything I have read says they are well built and great designed boats. I am looking at an 8.3 right now myself. I'll pass on anything I find out. AirBoss

Some friends of mine are looking very hard at this Columbia, and I hope to check it out first hand next month.
They've done the survey and sea trial, and so far, so good.

I'm pretty late on this- did you pick it up? Great cruiser- head room can't be beat- known to beer-can in the stern but I haven't had any issues (we put an aux fuel tank across the side to firm it up). Watch the galley sink on stb tacks- keep the seacock close or the drain will leak in water...
