Ah, what a wonderful trip - brings back so many memories... I'm guessing it was summertime - surprised at how uncrowded it was (esp Prideau Haven!). It's usually PACKED in the summer. And good to see you got SOME sailing in - that's usually pretty much a motor trip.

Hi Druid, over the years we have had some wonderful sails north. Nanaimo to Lasqueti, then Lasqueti to Lund. Both long legs done on separate days and sailed all the way. There were exceptions, but prevailing NW winds in the summer in Georgia Strait make passages north pretty nice. Once you get up into the Discovery Islands, however, winds become very confused amongst the island shadows and narrow passages. Things open up again in Queen Charlotte Strait.
