Hi All, I live in Port Washington and have been sailing for three years on my 1988 Catalina 30. this Friday August 12th we are setting sail for Easthampton by way of Long Island Sound through Plum Gut. Since this is my first cruise in that direction does anyone out there have any tips on where to catch the best wind, convenient ports and things to look out for. I would appreciate any tips you could provide. I anticipate this should take three days to get to our destination which is Three Mile Harbor, is this far off of the mark. Please advise. Jerry
