Hi All, I have a standard rig c27. The only modification in my boat is the replacement of the tiller with a wheal. Here is the question: I want to move Boom Traveler from the stern of the boat to the top of the cabin. I know catalinadirect is selling a kit: C-27 Mid Boom Traveler Upgrade What do you think ? is there anyone that has done a simirar job ? Thank you in advance.

Clarification
That's right, but I tought I could use that one to change mine. In other words I would remove the old one (traveler at the stern), buy the new one to put on top of the cabin..it is clear that i would have to put some pulleys along the boom but I am simply wondering if the top of the cabin can hold the stress.. Sorry for the confusion. /Magellan

Hi All, Thank you so much for your feedback. What you propose is exactly what I had in mind to do... I was simply worried that the boat could handle the load but I guess if it works for you ....
