Ciao Bella (1978 Cherubini 27) has a main traveler positioned just forward of the aft ice chest. We have a magnificent dodger, which prohibits mounting the traveler by the companionway, but I am interested in fashioning something on the cabin roof just forward of the dodger that is beefy enough to handle the main from the cockpit. try Garhauer

Go to Garhauer.com. They have entire cabintop traveler for about what Harken sells just the stand-offs for.They also sell a nice solid vang with tackle, line and all for about 200 bucks

Neil you have two options

First because you don't have full coaming, You can have a traveler track that is straight or contoured both to be installed just fwd of dodger, or you can upgrade your old traveler, for the same position, or you can use the multi block sys they used in the eighties, 3 blocks on the boom amidship, on bails, and 2 dbl sheave on springloaded base plates mtd on cabin top, but this sys, needs a 4 to 1 boom vang to keep the boom from rising.
