It seems my traveler has reached its use-by date. It doesn't slide very easily - and occasionally it seems to be stuck. I assume there are some sort of ball-bearings 'somewhere'. It is a Garhauer. Is it worth the hassle taking it apart - can it be taken apart and reconditioned? Unfortunately Garhauer doesn't have a presence in Australia, so if it requires replacement I would have to go for Lewmar or so.(for some reason parcel post from the US is prohibitively expensive, so I don't believe ordering Garhauer material from the US is an option) Has anyone tried something other than Garhauer on a Cat30? Thanks for any suggestions!
