1986 H31, with Rutgerson mainsheet traveler - cam cleats at each end of track are pretty well worn out. Has anyone replaced these, short of replacing the entire traveler system? Would appreciate any advice.
We replaced our traveler with a Harken unit many years ago. In my opinion, the original one was not a very good piece of hardware to begin with. We have had the Harken on there for over 10 years and it still works like it is new. We had them custom drill the track so there was no need to drill/tap any new holes.
