I have been looking for images of how racer's set up their blocks and travelers. The current set up on Pog does not effectively move the traveler. I have installed a new car and it rolls smoother, but am now thinking I need to change the blocks and possibly the cleats. My current set up has the blocks inside in the corners, the going through fairleads at the back of the coaming boxes (right above them), then through the cleats with a fairlead, which are placed at the forward end of the coaming box. I end up grabbing the line in front of the fairleads to get the traveller to move. Trying to think of an easier way....thoughts?

Hi Jimbo

I think that you are aware that most try to move the controls more forward. https://netfiles.uiuc.edu/rwahlfel/www/KevinFish_Traveler01.htm http://hometown.aol.com/gross991/Catalina22traveler.html But I keep wishing on my new style that the operation should be single handed. Not a situation where I have to release one side then pull and tighten the other side. Mind you, I'm only thinking but I think that you should be able to have a situation where you unlock a continuous loop, adjust it and lock it again. Something like one rope clutch to do the job either way the traveler moves.
