Transducers and Dry Dock

Can you turn on your depth and speed equipment in dry dock, iwthout damaging equipment. I just done replacing all my electronics, and wanted to fire em up to make sure all contacts where fine before I put back out this weekend. I did turn the unit for a second, just enough to get a reading, (inaccurate, but thats OK) I just wanted to make sure I had power. I could not find anything in the manual about it. ThanksTJ

OH, NO! TELL ME YOU DIDN"T TURN THEM ON!Just kidding! You can turn them on witout damage, but the depth meter won't work unless its in the water. You can test your knot meter by having someone spin the paddlewheel while you watch the meter.
