Does any one know what fluid my 2000 Hunter450 4JH-3TE trans takes? engine oil ?

Our transmission has the required lubricant stamped on the side of the case. Did you look for it ?

Mine takes 30W oil, bet yours takes the same. Check the label on the end of the transmission to be sure as it depends on the gearbox.
