That is dependant on the engine manufacturer and model. The boat is just incidental. Many h30s have been repowered by now so going back to the original sales brochure is not a sure fire way of determining what engine you may have. Give us some help.
Try going to the Yanmar web site and getting the manual for your engine. It should tell you what to put in the transmission. My h29.5 with a Yanmar 2gm20f uses 30 weight non-detergent motor oil in the transmission. The manual and my mechanic told me so.
Enclosed is a PDF shop manual for the 2qm15. The recommended transmission fluid is ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid). See Chapter 8, section 3. A Dexron product should work.
