We are having a trailer built for our 1979 C27. The local lake we sail on has no marina with facilties to lift our boat out for maintenance on the hull, etc. The plan we have drawn is based on putting a C27 cradle on a 27ft trailer (sort of like Judy B's if anyone has seen her website. However we have been told we are going to have a problem putting the boat on the trailer in the water. The ramp we will be using is of course slanted and the boat is going to float on level. What happens with other boats is that as the trailer is pulled out of the water, the bow of the the boat rises and the keel comes to rest on the keel support. We would like suggestions in how to deal with this problem. Thanks
