Earlier, I had proposed an East Coast Rendevouz located on Kerr Lake, NC. I had arranged for the site and other items. Unfortunately, I received only seven responses as of today. Due to the lack of interest, we are not going to host this rendevouz at this time. Hunter Marine was looking forward to this event; however, they too will not help to host the event due to the limited turnout. I will be contacting everyone who had responsed. I guess it comes down to all talk and no action. Since I've already got the vacation time I will just have to spend a week gunkholing around Key West. I apologize for not responding to the planned rendezvous. Somehow, I missed the posting. One more boat probably would not have made a difference anyway. I am interested in future trailerable events (although with the price of gas, the closer to Illinois the better for us). Thanks for trying to set this up Dave!

Wrong date for me
I would have loved to come, just couldn't get that week off (would need a day there and a day back). Was all set to convoy down with Reinhold, if I could get the time. Keep me in mind though if you plan another one. John S/V Icymoon

Scheduling problem
We also had previously scheduled a vacation for that time. I'm interested in the idea, and hopefully it will come up again in the future. Kerr Lake is certainly convenient for us. Hope you recovered from your sailing expedition Dave. Too much boat I suppose. LOL

It's a dang shame!
Requested and got my anual vacation for the time of the rendez- vous. It is to bad there wasn't enough interest. May a little more advertising would help next time! It would be fun to meet and sail with a bunch of trailer sailors and have some great big fat parties! Is anyone going to Kerr Lake anyway? Or some other place? After all thats why we have boats that can be trailered! Above all lets enjoy a great sailing season inspite of all the stuff going on in the world! Rinhold H260 'Endless Summer'
