We just purchased a 26' 1993 Classic (S or D?). The original trailer seems to be very lightly built. Has anyone beefed on up or is there a good replacement that you would recommend? Thank you. My email address is msba1@teleport.com
Maybe not necessariey beefed it up but definitely upgraded my trailer. I have a Macgregor 26 with a daggerboard and I am just wraping up the process of repainting the entire thing after sanding down all the rust and old paint off. I also upgraded the trailer lights with LED lights and new wiring. If you are close, I may be willing to upgrade your trailer.
