I have a 89 mac 26, the problem - one of the spring hangers that support the trailer platform to the leaf spring has broken, Is there a replacement part some where has anyone repaired this problem before. traini@idirect.com
Take the trailer to a machine shop and have them fabricate one. It is a simple job. They will also be able to grind-off the old bracket and weld the new one to the trailer for you. If you replace the bolt, make sure it is a grade 5 or grade 8.
