Trailer Surge Brakes

Need quick info. I have a 84' C22 swing keel, with what I would suppose id a 1984 single axle trailer fro this boat. Question.. Do I have to rebleed the surge brakes if I disconnect the brake line that is attached to the trailer tongue when and if I extend the "extendable" tongue. And if I do, how the hell do you do that ?? Thanx for all your guys help. Dave

quick release

I have a quick release on my trailer for four years. I have not had any trouble with it nor have I had to bleed after disconnecting. The ramps are shallow so I have to use the extention on each launch.
