trailer surge brake line

Yo guys! The big rubber surge brake line on my H23 broke. I've been to every conceivable place to find a replacement and gotten nowhere. A big auto parts warehouse even told me a shop has to be specially licensed to fabricate a brake hose. Where can I find this animal? Is the Hunter trailer manufacturer still around? I think it's from Ken's Welding. Thanks again for all y'all's help.

Try Haskins Hitch

Mike, This happened to me several years ago on my old Hunter 23. I am guessing you are up the road at Indian Lake,Ohio. Haskin's Hitch in Cincinnati was able to repair mine. Might want to give them a call at (513) 542-1733. Terry is the one who works on trailers. Good luck

Mike I had mine redone at Lorenze equipment in Columbus Ohio , it is true about needing to be liscensed to make these , they needed to order one fitting that they did not have in stock, if you cant find them in the phone book shoot me an email and I will look them up, take care , Mike

It depends on the state you are in if liscensing is required. any brake shop should be able to help you. As for the manufacturer, he is dead.
