I have just purchased a 1990 H27 and must move it. I have a trailer that needs modification to fit the hull. The H27 has the 3.6" draft/wing keel. Could someone provide me with the specifications for the placement of the support stantions to include height/width/spacing. Also need to know the configuration required for the wing keel support. Will use the trailer for haul-outs each year and trips. Photos of trailer would be very helpful also. Any help you could provide would be appreciated. Thank You James Calhoun

Jim, Is the trailer you plan to modify a roller

or bunk type? Is it at least a dual axle with enough brake power? And lastly, How much extension upward do you have on the roller/bunk rail mounts? Those answers will help. I have seen roller type trailers for Catalina 250 wing keel boats and the asking price was $3500. If you can weld and fabricate yourself, and if your present trailer is strong enough for the weight of the H27, you can beat the price. If not, you might be better off with a trailer designed for a wing keel. Ray S/V Speedy

Ray I have a 35 ft. dual axle trailer with adequate brakes. I will need to build bunks and add a few more rollers. I assume 12" rollers will work? I need to know the height, length, width of bunk supports. I will make them adjustable somewhat. I need to know the range of the height. Thanks Jim
