My trailer is getting rusty as they all do. I will be putting the boat in the water for the summer and would like to rebuild or replace the trailer. Does anyone have a source to rebuild my old one or have an idea where to get a new trailer fairly local to Washington state. I hate to have one shipped from say GA. Bluewater Yachts in Seattle is a great dealer that can certainly point you in the right direction. Be sure you are sitting down as they are not cheap!

Trailer repair

I have checked with Todd, thanks though. Would have thought for sure he would have a source. He has been selling boats for so many years. Any other ideas?

Roadrunner Trailers in BC

At the Seattle Boat Show three years ago I talked to a couple of sales people at the booth for Roadrunner Trailers in Richmond, BC. They seemed to know what was needed for a Mac trailer and their prices were pretty good. That said I'm stil using my 20 year-old Mac trailer with its rust from a long life in Bellingham. Sometime I'll get around to rebuilding it.

King Trailers

I'd suggest you talk to King Trailers in Marysville, WA (360 651 7887) I think they build the best Saltwater Trailer although they would have to redesign the bunks for the Mac. I have one of their trailers for my Whaler.

Thanks

Thanks for the help. I will check both of those sources this week. The boat comes off the trailer this weekend. Yeeeaaaaaaa. The MacGregor Club of BC's May races are next weekend at Blaine, WA. Hope the weather turns soon.
