trailer question

I bought an O'Day 222 last year and the trailer appears to be a modified motorboat trailer. It is a ShoreLandr and has rollers and a pad that the keel rests on. Once the boat is loaded, the keel pad can be locked in the up position to take pressure off the rollers. However, I have noticed pressure being exerted on the hull on the outer aft rollers. The hull actually curves inward slightly, taking on the shape of the rollers at those points. I'm concerned about hull damage from transporting the boat on this type of trailer. Are there modifications to these types of trailers that could relieve the pressure? One option I am considering is to raise the keel pad slightly to put more pressure on the keel, and less on the hull. Has anyone else dealt with this problem? I would appreciate any feedback that any of you might have. Thanks.

lower the aft rollers

if you can . ive seen several trailers with no adjustment down. it that is the case build up the keel pad and raise the rollers. it will take some trial and error . may be worth the money to have the yard lift the boat on and off as you adjust so that no further damage is done to the hull. it doesnt sound like a modified trailer to me . seems like a pretty ordinary sail boat trailer. personally i like the adjustable keel pad . good luck
