Trailer Maintenance

I have had my boat for 5 years. It's a '96 26X. Most of the time it is on the trailer (sigh..), except when we're out on it. About 80% of the time the launches are into salt water, with the trailer then sitting in a lot for several days without having been rinsed. Last year, I took the trailer in for a brake job. They replaced both brake cylinders and one drum. I think it's time for another brake job. I am considering stainless steel brakes (from Blue Water Yachts in Seattle). Has anyone installed those? Are they as good as they sound? I also want to take a wire brush to the trailer this time and then re-paint it. Any advice?
