Hi all, I've got some issues to resolve on my H260 Magic Tilt trailer. Hoping someone can share their experience. 1. One of the tire lug stud welds has broken and so the bolt spins when I try to loosen the lug nut. Any suggestions on how to repair? I think I need to take the entire wheel/hub assembly off to work on it... 2. Need instructions to remove "Bearing Buddy" assembly from hub to get at the hub retaining nut. 3. While climbing down the ladder on the trailer, I managed to step on the brake line connector to the master cylinder and cracked it. Has anyone got suggestions for a simple solution on how to protect it in the future? Thank you for any help. Fair winds... Tom Prime Time/ H260 Hauled out for the winter in New Hampshire.

I dont know about your particular trailer, but on mine the bearing buddies just need tapping with a hammer and they come right out. Just kind of fitted into place. Then you can get at the hub assembly! Stock full of grease!

hello tom, i think the studs are pressed in from the back side of the hub. if you remove the hub you can grind the head off the stud and press a new one in. my bearin buddy is taken apart by removing a "C" clip spring retainer from the inside lop of the hub, then the spring then work the bearing grease cover out of the hub then remove the cotter pin that passes through the nut and then the the nut. when you torque the nut in installation, the torque is going to be less than 11 ft. lbs. you should contact the trailer maker for the specs. good luck john

Wheel Studs

I stripped one of the studs on my stationwagon once. The mechanic took a punch and a hammer and knocked the stud back through the rim. I think you can do the same thing.

Buddies are press fit

Just tap gently all around while pulling straight out on them. After you've done your work, jsut tap them straight back in.
