I am interested in any project you have completed to extend your trailer hookup to tow vehicle. I want to be able to launch my boat without getting the truck in the water. I have a 21' Mac Venture.v/rBax

Bax,I don't use one myself but if I did it would be like the one on the link below. The folding extension could be bolted to the trailer frame and doesn't affect the trailer integrity.Happy sails *_/),MArk

Hello,I bought a 12' extension from extend a hitchhttp://www.extendahitch.com/I am very happy with it. It was easy to install(took about 1 hour) and I no longer need ropes tosink the trailer. Barry

Thanks! I saw that before but thought that I could do it myself. So last night I went to a steel company and for $28 I bought 2.5" square tubing x 14' this will slide into my existing tongue and Hopefully all I have to do is bolt and drill holes for the connector and slide stay. Will post pictures after project is complete.Bax
