I am about to tackle the job of sealing the hull with Interlux 2000 and finish with VC-17. Does anyone have any suggestions on dealing with the trailer bunks. I do not have access to a sling or crane. I have some ideas but would like to know you any of you have been successful painting the hull while still on the trailer.

LOWER THE BUNKS

Gary, I have a Hunter 20, The trailer bunks are on supports that are held in place by a set screw/bolt. If you keep the boat lashed to the trailer you should be able to lower one bunk at a time and raise it up after the paint is dry, then go to the next one. I hope you have a of the type. john.
