Trailer brakes replacement

Hi folkes ,I imported a 26 x to Fremantle Australia ,On the way to the port in Baltimore the axle broke and a new axel was fitted ,the previous owner had already told me that the brakes needed attention ,when the boat arrived it only had the drums fitted ,and no back plate with the shoes and brake cylinder fitted ,can any body tell me what back plate will fit the trailer brakes ,is there a car out there with the same , that I can get from the wreckers.or are they just made by Macregor ,Hoping somone out there will be able to help Regards Bobby Millard Perth West Australia

You can buy

complete drum to hub kits with shoes and cylinders for cheaper than piecing it together, that is a standard hub, you should have no problem finding it. Or convert to disc while you are at it.Tim
