Trade a shoal keel for fin keel?

Well, I am thinking about moving up from a 25 to a 76 27 with shoal keel, (somewhere I must have heard bigger is better), a project boat that will be out of the water for a year. I thought maybe someone out there just might want to swap keels or perhaps know a more appropriate site for such things?

This subject has been discussed numerous times over the past couple of years. The consensus seems to be: "If the keel's not right for you save yourself some grief and don't buy it."

Thanks, I did.

And bought the boat based on what I learned. My thought is to see if another Hunter owner would prefer the shoal draft keel..I think I have a grasp on the amount of work involved.
